Dr. Samuel Lee, Dr.Ac, is a highly trained Registered Acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture who blends the time-honored wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with modern, evidence-informed techniques to deliver personalized, results-driven care. With a special focus on pain management, stress reduction, and whole-body wellness, Dr. Sam is passionate about helping patients not only feel better—but function better and live better.

Having grown up playing sports, Dr. Sam personally experienced the powerful healing benefits of acupuncture for reducing swelling, inflammation, and pain. These early experiences shaped his clinical philosophy: the body has an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support. Today, he applies that philosophy by treating the body as an interconnected system, identifying and addressing the root cause of concerns rather than simply masking symptoms.

Dr. Sam specializes in treating musculoskeletal conditions such as sports injuries, chronic and acute pain, sciatica, neck and back pain, and tension-related disorders. He also works extensively with mental-emotional health concerns, including stress, anxiety, insomnia, and depression—recognizing the deep connection between physical discomfort and emotional well-being. In addition, he has a strong interest in supporting patients with digestive imbalances, hormonal regulation, and fertility challenges, areas where acupuncture can play a powerful complementary role.

His treatments are carefully tailored using a refined combination of classical techniques—including TCM Acupuncture, Fire Cupping, and Tuina Massage—alongside modern modalities such as IMS needling, Electro-Acupuncture, Silicone Cupping, and Assisted Stretch Therapy. This integrative approach enhances circulation, improves mobility, reduces inflammation, balances the nervous system, and strengthens the mind-body connection. Patients often report increased energy, improved sleep, better mood, and a greater overall sense of well-being.

Dr. Sam has practiced across Canada, previously practised in Ontario (CTCMPAO), British Columbia (CTCMA). He is currently licenced and practising in Edmonton, Alberta, where he earned his designation as Doctor of Acupuncture (CAAA). His diverse training and commitment to ongoing research allow him to continuously refine his techniques and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Whether you are recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, navigating stress, or simply looking to optimize your health, Dr. Sam’s goal is to work collaboratively with you to create lasting, meaningful improvements in your quality of life.
